Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.
• BLS Certifed.
• 3–5 years of radiographic/fluoroscopic and CT experience as an ARRT technologist.
• Registered with ARRT in Radiography and CT.

Responsibilities

• Performs all radiologic, fluoroscopic and CT procedures in accordance with department policy and regulatory requirements.
• Controls the flow of patients in an efficient and timely fashion.
• Covers other staff positions in relief situations within competency parameters.
• Works efficiently and completes exams within allocated timeframes.
• Uses shielding and immobilization devices for patient safety and comfort.
• Communicates procedure details to patients and answers questions.
