Job summary

Reston Hospital Center in Reston, VA seeks a Lead Imaging Technologist to perform portable and fixed radiographic/fluoroscopy and CT procedures, ensuring safety and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong leadership to coordinate imaging staff and maintain department standards.

The candidate should be ARRT registered in Radiography and CT, BLS certified, with 3–5 years of radiography/fluoroscopy and CT experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.
• Registered with ARRT in Radiography and CT.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience performing radiographic/fluoroscopic and CT procedures as a registered ARRT Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performs all radiologic, fluoroscopic and CT procedures in accordance with department policy and applicable regulations.
• Controls the flow of patients within the section in an efficient and timely fashion.
• Covers other staff positions in relief situations within competency parameters.
• Works efficiently and performs all exams within allocated timeframe.
• Maintains proper documentation and timely RIS charge entries.
• Serves as immediate supervisor for all staff within modality and coordinates scheduling.
