Reston Hospital is seeking an Imaging Technologist to perform portable and fixed unit Radiographic, Fluoroscopic, and CT procedures in support of patient diagnostics. The role emphasizes radiation safety, patient comfort, and ongoing professional development.

As part of a high-volume department, you will ensure efficient exam flow, maintain regulatory compliance, and support colleagues across shifts. This position requires ARRT registration and an accredited radiology education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.
• BLS certification.
• 3–5 years of radiology/fluoroscopy and CT experience as an ARRT technologist.
• Registered with ARRT in Radiography and CT.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic, fluoroscopic and CT exams per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Controls patient flow and ensures exams are completed within allocated time.
• Covers other staff positions in relief as needed within competency.
• Uses shielding and immobilization devices for patient safety and comfort.
• Explains procedures to patients and answers questions.
