Job summary

Shared Imaging LLC in Bronx, NY is seeking a Full Time Imaging Technologist Aide to join our team. The role supports MRI or PET/CT scanning operations, greets patients, registers them, and assists the technologist during tests.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with travel occasionally and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, 401k, and paid time off. Candidates should have a high school diploma, CPR/BLS, and a strong patient-care mindset; CMA is preferred and travel

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Strong patient-care understanding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients.
• Register patients and verify information for tests.
• Assist patients in and out of the trailer and position them for scans.
• Set up MRI or PET/CT scanning rooms and maintain rooms.
• Stock dressing rooms and supplies; order necessary items.

Shared Imaging is currently looking to hire a Full Time Imaging Technologist Aide in the Bronx, NY area.

Work Schedule:

• Monday- Friday
• 8am-4pm
• Location: 1400 Pelham Pkwy S, Bronx, NY 10461

The ideal candidate must possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CPR/BLS Certification (via American Heart Association) required
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology understanding preferred
• Patient care experience strongly preferred
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
• Hard working, detail-oriented, and committed to outstanding patient care
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Travel may be required, travel allowance is offered

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and directing patients
• Confirming and registering patients
• Verifying all necessary information is available for the test

• Assist patients in and out of the trailer
• Ability to push wheelchairs, gurneys and stretchers
• Assist technologist with positioning patient and assisting them on and off the scanning table
• Assist in setting up MRI or PET/CT scanning rooms
• Stocking and maintaining patient dressing rooms, scan rooms and control areas
• Ordering supplies
• Other responsibilities as directed

The hourly range for this role is $23-$26/hour, however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for a performance-based merit increase annually. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
