Job summary

Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist to perform radiologic procedures and contribute to high-quality patient care.

You will handle imaging in the radiology department, portable exams, and C-arm procedures, while maintaining patient comfort and safety. Opportunities for growth include accelerated programs into CT and MRI funded by HCA.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with the proper procedure and high-quality images to assist the physician in diagnosis.
• Perform imaging procedures in radiology and portable exams including C-arm procedures throughout the hospital.
• Schedule, plan, implement and complete the request for service while providing a friendly and compassionate environment in line with the care like family mission.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and understanding of the treatments needed for these patient groups.
• Stay up to date with current techniques and procedures.

As an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist at our facility, you will performprofessional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment,ingenuityand initiative. • You willbe responsible forprovidingthepatient,the proper procedurewith excellent quality images toassistthe physician in the diagnosis of the patient’s condition or health complaint.
• You will perform a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department as well as portable exams andc-armprocedures throughout the hospital.
• You will be responsibletoschedule, plan,implementandcompletethe request for service andprovidea friendly and compassionate environment in keeping with the “care like family” mission of the hospital.
• You willpossessknowledge of growth anddevelopment;andhaveanunderstandingoftherange of treatment needed for these patient groups.
• You willbe responsibleforstayingup to dateofcurrent techniques and procedures.

Opportunities for Growth:

We offer accelerated development programs to support colleagues with career advancement into both CT and MRI. These training programs are fully funded by HCA Healthcare, and selected colleagues complete and are paid for clinical hours during regular shifts.
