Job summary

Lakeview Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a part-time CT Technologist to support radiology services in Bountiful, Utah. You will assist radiologists, operate CT equipment, administer oral and IV contrast, and ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 7 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) within 1 year of employment start date.
• ARRT-Radiography certification (RT).
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification.
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral and IV contrast; evaluate for allergies; establish proper IV access.
• Load and operate MedRad power injector.
• Operate CT scanning equipment; follow ALARA; adhere to physician protocols.
• Assist interventional radiologists with procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment and stock supplies.
• Assist patients on/off scanner table and aid with movement.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a CT Technologist, you will work with our friendly radiologists assisting with various types of procedures. There are always opportunities to learn new things and be challenged in your career. Members of that team consider themselves a family where each member works hard to support each other. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

• You will administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for any allergic reactions; place correct IV for the exam being performed.
• You will be loading and operating MedRad power injector.
• You will operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately.
• You will be assisting interventional radiologists with procedures.
• You will be maintaining a clean work environment and stock the department with supplies and linens.
• You will be moving, lifting, and assisting patients onto and off the scanner table.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Associate Degree
