Zusammenfassung

Geisinger Healthplex CenterPoint is seeking a student Radiology/Vascular/Echo Technologist support role to assist technologists with non-technical tasks and supervised imaging. You will help with patient transport, preparation, and imaging room setup, under direct supervision to ensure patient safety.

The position emphasizes patient contact, adherence to ALARA, and collaboration with licensed practitioners.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a second-year student, or first-year student who satisfied competency requirements in an accredited radiology-related program recognized by the JRC-ARRT, JRC-DMS, CMA-CCAHEP, or CMA.

Aufgaben

• Operates imaging equipment pertaining to the specified modality.
• Produces quality imaging studies under supervision until competency is achieved.
• Performs post-processing of imaging studies as applicable.
• Prepares patients for exams and screens MRI safety when applicable.
• Maintains imaging equipment and ensures patient safety and ALARA principles.
• Documents patient history and ensures proper workflow in the Radiology Information System.
