Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician for imaging systems, performing planned maintenance and corrective repairs across diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. You will assist in planning and installation of imaging devices, and provide training to staff on safe operation.

The role emphasizes compliance with regulatory standards, on-call coverage after hours, and collaboration with Clinical Engineering teams to ensure reliability and safety of radiology equipment throughout

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in medical electronics/imaging technology.
• 1–2 years in preventive/corrective maintenance on diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of radiation physics, medical terminology and imaging techniques.
• Familiar with OSHA, NFPA, Joint Commission and FDA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) on imaging equipment.
• Coordinate repairs with vendors and users; document resolutions.
• Attend training on equipment advances; provide in-service to staff.
• Provide on-call coverage after hours on a rotating basis.
