Job summary

TRIMEDX is seeking an Imaging Engineer II to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of complex medical imaging equipment across radiographic rooms, R/F, and related systems. The role ensures regulatory compliance, maintains inventory, and supports clinical engineering initiatives.

The candidate will collaborate with clinicians, service technicians, and vendors, while mentoring teammates and contributing to service operations projects.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience.
• 2 year degree requirement waived if the applicant has TRIMEDX Trained Certification or completed an equivalent biomedical certification.
• Complex computer skills to interpret error codes, defragment hard drives, replace power supplies, and interpret computer codes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and networking applications required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Travel may be required based on customer or business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance assurance (PA) inspections, scheduled maintenance, and operation verification procedures (OVP) on complex medical imaging equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate complex medical imaging equipment.
• Inform supervisors of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations, and any customer concerns.
• Work with subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery.
• Maintain Clinical Engineering expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Assist with Service Operations Special Projects and mentor others by sharing expertise.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the equipment database including inventory, PA schedules, nomenclature, and service history.
• Adhere to the Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP) and regulatory compliance policies.
• Build and maintain customer relationships and discuss equipment status with clinicians.
• Perform periodic inspections of inventory and maintain common replacement parts inventory.
