Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure the optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems and interfaces within our clinical environments. This role will participate in project management, vendor relations, and the ongoing improvement of imaging workflows, ensuring seamless image viewing, data exchange, and adherence to DICOM and HL7 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required
• Advanced degree preferred in business or information systems is a plus
• Experience in medical imaging systems administration or related healthcare IT role preferred

Responsibilities

• Image management and system optimization across imaging modalities
• Manage interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and voice recognition systems
• Participate in project lifecycle: vision, specs, testing, training materials
• Vendor management and cost scheduling assistance
• QA, compliance, and documentation throughout project lifecycle

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Systems or related field

Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Systems or related field
