Qualifications

• Experience in medical imaging systems administration, PACS administration, or a similar role within a healthcare environment.
• Lean/Six Sigma training or certification.
• Health Insurance or Healthcare Industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Image Management & System Optimization: ensure optimal viewing/interpretation of medical images and maintain interfaces with EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition; verify data integrity and optimize workflows.
• Project Management & Development: participate in full system development lifecycle and create/maintain project documents; manage requirements to meet scope, time, and budget; support budget/resource planning.
• Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: clearly communicate downtime or upgrades; work with management to minimize disruption; interface with vendors, partners, and project teams to drive value and ROI.
• IT & Technical Support: assist with vendor management for imaging applications; learn new skills (DICOM/HL7); implement upgrades; provide data for KPIs and audits.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: ensure standards compliance; perform comprehensive testing; document designs and flows; assist with documentation; support post-implementation.
