Job summary

enGen in Minnesota seeks an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance and compliant operation of medical imaging systems, interfaces with EMR/RIS/PACS, DICOM/HL7 workflows, and data exchange. The role supports clinical environments and promotes seamless image viewing and interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in medical imaging systems administration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards.
• Experience with hardware/software implementation, upgrades, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal environment for viewing/interpretation of medical images.
• Manage interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Participate in full system development lifecycle and document deliverables.
• Maintain data integrity and support imaging workflow optimization.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
