Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking an Imaging Administrator to ensure efficient operations across imaging departments, maintaining PACS systems, imaging applications, and data workflows. The role involves liaising with vendors, Biomed, and IS teams, and delivering end-user training.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Healthcare or IT (or 4 years PACS experience) with 2 years in healthcare, plus basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Healthcare or IT, or 4 years of PACS administration experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years of related healthcare experience required.
• Medical Imaging experience preferred.
• Basic computer experience required.
• Registered by CIIP, PARCA, ARRT, RDMS, or CNMT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers and supports various radiology PACS and cardiology PACS (Sectra, Lumedx, Merge Cardio, Philips ISCV) and related imaging technologies.
• Serves as a key onsite IT resource for imaging applications at a facility.
• Provides second-level support as a local medical imaging subject matter expert to resolve incidents or fulfill requests.
• Delivers hands-on training for medical imaging applications.
• Contributes to imaging security plans to meet HIPAA requirements for imaging applications.
• Participates in special projects and standard operating procedures related to medical imaging.
• Ensures health of imaging systems and captures digital image data into imaging software and networks.

Education

Associate's degree in Healthcare or IT or 4 years PACS administration experience

Bachelor's degree preferred
