Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Radiology Assistant to support the patient care team and assist in routine imaging tasks at Baptist Medical Center South. The role emphasizes collaboration with technologists, physicians, and nursing staff to maintain smooth operations across the modality.

A High School diploma and BLS are required, with CNA/HOSA or Nursing Fundamentals coursework preferred. The position offers full-time hours and a 7 on / 7 off shift pattern on first shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant Program or a Health Occupations Program (HOSA) or completion of first clinical rotation as a Nursing student or 1 year of patient care experience in acute care, nursing home, imaging center, or home care setting required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine and non-complex aspects of patient care to support unit operations.
• Facilitate efficient operation of the assigned modality through organizational and communication skills.
• Collaborate with registration and support Technologists, Physicians, RNs, and LPNs in patient care processes.
• Work with the care team to ensure smooth workflow and coverage.
