Job summary

St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA is seeking a patient transport role to help move patients for imaging studies and assist with exam preparation.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in filing, telephone etiquette, guest relations and proper body mechanics for patient transport.
• Current BLS certification through ILCOR-affiliated courses with manikin check-off.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the smooth flow of diagnostic studies in all modalities as needed.
• Safely transport patients from units to CT, Ultrasound, MRI and X-ray; assist with exam preparation.
• Check patients into Epic when a patient representative is unavailable.
