Job summary

Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute in Wesley Chapel is seeking an Imaging Assistant I (PRN) to support imaging operations within the Orthopedics department. You will observe and assist across imaging areas and ensure patient transport and care are performed safely and efficiently.

The role supports orderly, clean, and compliant workflow with a focus on patient safety and collaboration with radiology teams. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with PRN flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Transports bed, stretcher, and wheelchair patients safely and professionally.
• Uses patient identifiers per The Joint Commission regulations.
• Orders and receives weekly radiology supplies.
• Picks up and delivers requisitions, specimens and materials within the facility.
• Maintains rooms by stocking, cleaning and proper supplies storage.
