Job summary

Liberty Hospital is seeking a Radiology Assistant PRN to support imaging workflows by assisting technologists before and after exams. The role includes transporting patients, ensuring comfort, and preparing imaging rooms to promote efficient turnover.

Responsibilities extend to data retrieval from PACS/EMR, coordinating with nursing and tech staff, and maintaining equipment and supplies. BLS certification and prior care experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; diploma/GED not required for hires before Feb 2026.
• 1 year or less experience preferred, with 3–6 months in acute, ED, or long-term care settings.
• Experience as MA, EMT, or LPN preferred.
• BLS (AHA) certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiology technologists in patient care before and after imaging.
• Transport patients to and from radiology and assist with comfort.
• Enter information into EMR, PACS, and O2 for reviews.
• Coordinate information between nursing and technology staff.
• Prepare imaging rooms and maintain supplies for efficient turnover.
