Banner Imaging in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to support technologists by preparing exam rooms, assisting patients, and performing IVs. You will also handle patient care coordination, scheduling, lab specimens, and imaging retrieval to ensure smooth operations.

The role emphasizes clerical duties, patient interaction, and teamwork within a fast-paced imaging department. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8:30–5, with occasional Saturdays; opportunities for growth exist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with strong clerical basics.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and provide general information.
• Enter patient data, scan documents into PACS, and maintain patient records.
• Assist with room preparation, patient transport, and IV indications as needed.
• Support pre/post procedure setup and ensure rooms are stocked.
• Verify demographics and insurance information; assist with check-out and billing.
• Coordinate patient transportation and prepare charts for next steps.
• Print schedules, labels, and forms; assist with minor clerical tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety policies.
