Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking an Imaging Technical Assistant for the Body Ultrasound unit on an 8-hour evening shift. This role ensures safe patient transport, supports radiology procedures, and serves as a liaison between imaging technologists and nursing staff.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and at least 6 months in a health-related field. You will help with charting, room readiness, and coordination of procedures within a dynamic imaging

Qualifications

• Education required: High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Minimum 6 months health-related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients within the diagnostic imaging department, including patients with oxygen as needed.
• Provides direct patient care as directed by Technologists or Radiologists.
• Acts as liaison between Technologists and Nursing staff.
• Performs hand-offs of care within imaging and hospital units, reporting abnormal or emergent signs.
• Checks all documentation prior to patient transfer.
• Maintains clean and stocked rooms; supplies and linen readiness.
