Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System is seeking a capable Imaging Department Clerk to greet and assist patients and visitors, and to record patient and imaging information. The role includes filing and retrieving papers and films in alphabetical and numeric order and supporting technologists during imaging procedures.

You will transport patients to and from the department as needed. The ideal candidate has at least one year of customer service experience, with preference for healthcare exposure

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of customer service experience preferred; healthcare experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to work calmly in a busy Imaging Department; strong communication and customer service skills; ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
