Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking a Technologist Assistant to support technologists and staff in a fast-paced imaging environment. You will prepare rooms, assist with patient flow and mobility, and guide patients through their visit with safety and care at the forefront.

The role offers hands-on patient care, opportunities for cross-training, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and protocol adherence in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior healthcare or patient-facing experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required (or obtained within required timeframe).
• IV certification or willingness to obtain (depending on modality requirements).

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist technologists.
• Support patient flow and mobility throughout the visit.
• Escort patients and assist with positioning and exam preparation.
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines.
• Maintain calm, safe handling in a fast-paced imaging environment.
