Job summary

Oro Valley Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist I to obtain diagnostic-quality radiographs while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. This full-time day shift role collaborates with healthcare providers to support efficient operations and high-quality patient care.

Requires ARRT certification, a state license if applicable, and BCLS within 30 days. 0–1 year of radiology experience preferred; familiarity with ALARA and PACS/RIS systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of clinical radiologic technologist experience.
• ARRT certification required; state license as applicable.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality radiographic procedures independently, ensuring reproducible and diagnostic-quality images.
• Adheres to ALARA; follows Image Gently/ Image Wisely protocols to minimize exposure.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, confirms identity, and explains procedures for patient understanding.
• Maintains imaging equipment and supplies; ensures a safe, organized environment.
• Documents and verifies images and related data in PACS for radiologist interpretation.
