Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Maplewood, MN seeks a Radiology Aide to join the imaging team at St John's Hospital. This 1.0 FTE role (80 hours per two weeks) works Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

with rotating weekends, supporting radiology staff, patients and nursing personnel to maintain smooth patient flow. You will assist technologists and radiologists, help prepare rooms, transfer patients, develop films, and manage supplies while following safety standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate Windows and Outlook, and use Epic EHR.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of and complies with laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Participates in improvements.
• Assists radiology staff with procedures to facilitate patient flow.
• Provides patient safety measures to ensure quality care.
• Develops films to maintain patient flow.
• Prepares rooms for procedures and ensures availability of items.
• Transports patients to maintain patient flow.
• Assembles and files radiology jackets for timely examinations.
• Maintains supply inventory.
