Job summary

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel in Florida is seeking a Registered Radiology Assistant to perform a full range of imaging procedures under supervision and operate imaging equipment. You will assess patients pre- and post-procedure and ensure correct exam/patient assignments, while following safety and infection control standards.

Responsibilities include image evaluation for diagnostic quality, PACS usage, and contributing to department performance improvement.

Qualifications

Knowledge of imaging procedures/positions, anatomy and pathology, and pharmacology.
Ability to determine appropriate technical factors.
Knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
Must maintain Advent Health medical staff Allied Health privileges in good standing.
Communicates effectively in English.
Knowledge of PACS and associated equipment.
Good organizational skills.
Knowledge of CT, MR, ULTRASOUND, or NUCLEAR MEDICINE equipment.
