Job summary

AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL, seeks a skilled Radiology Imaging Technologist to perform a full range of imaging procedures under supervision, operating all imaging equipment and ensuring patient safety across all ages.

You will assess patients pre- and post-procedure, apply proper positioning and exposure factors, verify identities, and ensure diagnostic-quality images while coordinating with the workflow and staying within radiation safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of imaging procedures/positions, anatomy and pathology, and pharmacology [Required]
• Ability to determine appropriate technical factors [Required]
• Knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment [Required]
• Must maintain Advent Health medical staff Allied Health privileges in good standing. [Required]
• Communicates effectively in English [Required]
• Knowledge of PACS and associated equipment [Preferred]
• Good organizational skills [Preferred]
• Knowledge of CT, MR, ULTRASOUND, or NUCLEAR MEDICINE equipment [Preferred]

Responsibilities

• Performs a full range of imaging procedures under the appropriate levels of supervision and operates all imaging equipment in assigned department.
• Utilizes the knowledge and skills for age-specific factors necessary to perform safe and effective procedures on patients of all ages.
• Performs patient assessment pre and post procedure and ensures proper positioning and exposure factors.
• Verifies two patient identifiers to confirm exam accuracy and evaluates images for diagnostic quality.
