Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to perform X-ray, MRI, CT, Mammography, Ultrasound, and related IR exams, upholding ALARA and safety standards. You will prepare patients, position for accurate images, and collaborate with physicians to ensure optimal care.

The role requires two years cross-modality experience, BLS or instructor credentials, and ARRT-MRI/M/MR-CT. Excellent communication, teamwork, and computer skills are essential to maintain documentation,

Qualifications

• Two years’ combined experience in more than one specialty modality.
• Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s).
• BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA) and must have one of: ARRT-MRI or ARRT-M or ARRT-CT.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiology procedures including X-ray, MRI, CT, Mammography, Ultrasound and IR exams.
• Provides direct assistance to physicians during diagnostic procedures, including sterile technique.
• Maintains patient care by positioning, procedure preparation, and adjusting technical factors as needed.
• Provides documentation and communication to ensure high-quality patient service and safety.
