Qualifications

• Education: accredited radiologic technology or MRI/CT program.

Role Description The MRI/CT Technologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for performing MRI and CT examinations according to physician orders and established protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety. Daily tasks include preparing and positioning patients, operating and adjusting imaging equipment, verifying patient information, and following radiation safety and MRI safety guidelines. The technologist collaborates with radiologists and clinical staff, maintains accurate documentation, and supports timely report turnaround. Additional responsibilities include monitoring equipment performance, assisting with scheduling needs, and contributing to a welcoming, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Clinical imaging skills: proficiency in MRI and CT scanning techniques, patient positioning, and image optimization.
• Safety and compliance skills: knowledge of MRI safety, radiation safety, infection control, and adherence to facility and regulatory protocols.
• Patient care skills: ability to communicate clearly, provide compassionate care, manage patient comfort and anxiety, and respond appropriately to special needs.
• Technical and administrative skills: experience with PACS/RIS systems, electronic health records, and accurate documentation of procedures.
• Certification and licensure: ARRT certification in Radiography and advanced MRI and/or CT certification preferred; valid state license as required by Texas regulations.
• Education: completion of an accredited radiologic technology or MRI/CT program.
• Experience: prior experience as an MRI/CT Technologist in an outpatient imaging or hospital setting is highly beneficial.
