Job summary

Baystate Noble Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate diagnostic X-ray equipment following Radiologist specifications to obtain diagnostic films. The role includes fluoroscopy, invasive exams, and portable imaging across NICU, Pedi, OR, ICU, ER, and outpatient settings.

The incumbent may perform mobile and surgical procedures to assist in patient diagnosis, and must respond to contrast reactions and emergencies per department and hospital policy, with opportunities to float to

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Ability to follow Radiologist specifications and established procedures.
• Strong patient communication and safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic X-ray equipment to obtain quality films as per Radiologist specifications.
• Perform fluoroscopy, invasive exams, portable imaging in NICU, Pedi, OR, ICU, ER and outpatient settings.
• Respond to emergencies and manage contrast reactions per policy.
• Float to other Baystate Health locations to support staffing as needed.
• Ensure proper patient identification and transfer images to PACS; maintain safety and infection control.
