Job summary

IU Health Arnett Hospital seeks an Echo Team Lead to join our Diagnostics Radiology team. This full-time day position features four 10-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no on-call evenings or holidays.

You will oversee daily operations, manage scheduling and PTO, support budgeting, and ensure ICAEL accreditation compliance while guiding staff through change and process improvements. You will participate in interviewing and evaluations, foster team development, and maintain high standards

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant leadership or supervisory experience in radiology.
• BLS certification through the AHA is required.
• Must supervise staff and coordinate patient flow across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Echo team within Diagnostic Radiology.
• Lead scheduling, PTO management, and budget support.
• Drive process improvements and lead change initiatives.
• Assist with interviewing and performance evaluations.
• Maintain ICAEL accreditation and compliance through rounding and leadership.

Job description

IU Health Arnett Hospital is seeking an Echo Team Lead to join our team!

This position operates on a full-time day schedule of four 10-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage scheduling and PTO, support budget planning, lead charge corrections, and maintain compliance for equipment, competencies, and ICAEL accreditation. As a proactive change champion, you will drive process improvement, assist with interviewing and evaluations, foster team development, and maintain high operational standards through daily rounding and active leadership.

Job Description:

Plans the work flow and employee distributions within the department. Provides various lead functions within the Diagnostic Radiology department while providing functional guidance to staff. Ensures staff interacts with patients and others in a positive manner and are competent to care for patients from pediatric through geriatric. Success is accomplished by promoting a team-oriented and service conscious environment.

Qualifications:

• Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.


• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.


• Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.


• Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R) through the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT).


• Requires Radiologic Technologist license from Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH).
