Job summary

Orlando Health – Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Florida, seeks an experienced Radiology Supervisor to lead technologists and support staff, ensuring efficient workflow and consistently high-quality imaging across the department.

You will collaborate with scheduling, physicians and radiologists to optimize patient flow, supervise staff, provide training, and uphold Safety and Joint Commission standards while maintaining compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Florida licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and ARRT certification.
• Alternative ARDMS with current BLS/Health Care Provider certification.
• Two years of experience in Radiology or Radiology Specialty.

Responsibilities

• Directs the work of technologists and support staff to ensure workflow efficiency and accuracy.
• Establishes staffing patterns that support excellent customer service.
• Ensures images meet established Quality Control standards.
• Applies radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
• Communicates with scheduling, Physicians, and Radiologists for optimal patient flow.
• Compiles and analyzes data for Joint Commission and budget reports.
• Provides staff training and orientation; coordinates PI initiatives.
