Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking an experienced radiology department leader to ensure quality imaging and maintain accreditation standards. You will supervise daily operations, mentor staff, and drive performance across off-site locations.

The ideal candidate has a radiologic technology program background, ARRT/ARDMS/CNMT/NMTCB/CCI certifications, and at least four years of technical leadership experience, with strong timekeeping and safety coaching responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, or Cardiovascular Sonography.
• Minimum four years of technical experience in radiology or related field.
• Licensure/certification required upon hire (ARRT/ARDMS/CNMT/NMTCB/CCI) and BCLS.

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality imaging and quality control across the department.
• Ensures department meets ACR and FDA accreditations.
• Provides leadership for off-site locations.
• Supervises daily departmental operations including staff schedules and productivity.
• Supervises clinical staff and conducts staff evaluations and competencies.
• Leads personnel through guidance, feedback, and delegation.
• Acts as timekeeping supervisor and safety coach for the department.
