The supervisor will monitor testing, lead quality control, participate in hiring, and drive improvements to service delivery while maintaining regulatory adherence and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in healthcare administration or business administration.
• Four years of experience in related discipline.
• Registry in imaging discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or business administration (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of the assigned imaging section(s).
• Plans daily work schedule and assignments ensuring that work is done and reported promptly and accurately; supports manager in scheduling and coverage.
• Takes initiative to assume departmental responsibilities daily, when scheduled or in staffing shortages.
• Ensures testing operates efficiently and effectively, monitoring turnaround times, inventory, and supplies; implements corrective actions.
• Serves as technical resource to subordinates in resolving complex problems and in investigating and recommending corrective actions.
• Develops, trains and evaluates imaging staff; participates in hiring process.
• Makes suggestions to improve work methods, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and solve operational problems.

Education

Associate degree in healthcare administration or business administration
