Job summary

Qualifications

BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within 6 months of hire date.
Experience in a hospital Radiology Department setting with RIS/HIS knowledge.
Computer knowledge and familiarity with Quality control, Safety, and Radioactive Waste.

Responsibilities

Provide technical, patient care and clerical support in Radiology.
Schedule imaging procedures and coordinate with technologists/radiologists.
Process radiographs and transport patients to prepare for procedures.
Prepare radiographs for interpretation and download CDs into PACS.
Operate film digitizing equipment, CD burners and document scanners; maintain PACS workflow.
Participate in QA, safety and performance improvement activities; contribute to staff training.
