Discuss financial responsibility with patients, maintain accurate patient account information, verify insurance, obtain authorizations/referrals. This position requires the ability to learn and retain a broad base of knowledge concerning all examinations and make quick, independent decisions using good judgment. Work situations require a service-oriented individual with the ability to respond to physicians, patients and families with empathy, respect and understanding. Contacts include patients, families, referring physicians and their office staff.***EDUCATION**** High school graduate or equivalent required.* Medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy preferred.***EXPERIENCE***Imaging Services Rep I:* Minimum one year of office/reception experience required preferably in a health care setting.Imaging Services Rep II:* All requirements of the ISR I position.* Three years of experience in the ISR I position or experience equal to the ISR I position with another organization as determined by OMC.***LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS***None
