Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking an Imaging Services-Clinical Educator at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. This role involves guiding students and staff, developing educational programs, and performing imaging technologist duties.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Health Care or Education, active imaging licenses (RT/R, RT(N), RDMS), two years of related experience, and vaccination compliance. Day shift, full-time, 40 hours weekly, compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Health Care, Education or related field required or enrolled in a bachelor’s program within 6 months, completed within 5 years.
• Licensed/Registered in Imaging Services (RT(R), RT(N), RDMS) in Ultrasound; multi-credentialed preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Two years of directly related work experience required.
• Must be licensed/registered in Imaging Services (RT(R), RT(N), RDMS).
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Manager, Radiology Imaging Quality and Education or designee, perform diversified duties involving clinical instruction to students and staff, development of department and system-wide educational programs, quality improvement and regulatory readiness activities and the imaging technologist duties.

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

• B.S. Degree in Health Care, Education or other related field is required or must be enrolled in a Bachelor degree program from an accredited college or university within 6 months of hire or promotion into position; degree must be completed within five (5) years.
• Licensed/Registered in the area of Imaging Services (RT(R), RT(N), RDMS.) in Ultrasound; a multi-credentialed individual is preferred but not required.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, i.e. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint are required.
• Two (2) years of directly related work experience is required.
• Licensed/Registered in the area of Imaging Services (RT (R), RT(N), RDMS)
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
