Responsibilities

• Greets and assists internal and external customers.
• Collects data to provide requested services.
• Interviews patients to obtain demographic and financial data.
• Creates patient records and/or enters physician orders in the computer.
• Handles visitors and calls, referring to appropriate staff.
• Resolves problems arising in interactions with patients and physicians.
• Maintains confidentiality in accordance with hospital policy.
