Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare Corporate in Georgia seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician to install, repair and maintain diagnostic medical equipment and devices. You will inspect, test, replace and adjust malfunctioning components, and keep clear records of system problems and service actions.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent HTM experience, with preference for Certified Radiology Equipment Services (CRES) and related manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• HTM or related technical education is required or equivalent experience.
• Military training may substitute for a degree where applicable.
• HTM experience plus electronics background is preferred.

Work Experience

• (1) one year of HTM or electronics engineering experience
• In lieu of degree Five (5) years of HTM or electronics engineering experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• None required
• Certified Radiology Equipment Services (CRES) preferred
• Vendor training specialized training by manufacturer or third party equipment repair in high end equipment such as Diagnostic Imaging
