Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics/Imaging Technology or military training preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience with imaging equipment and repair of radiology equipment.
• Experience with multiple modalities (radiology, MRI, ultrasound, CT, etc.) preferred.
• Certification in modalities (CRES) preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to be on-call and act as a technical resource for others.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance, calibrations, and electrical safety inspections on imaging equipment per standards.
• Repair by replacing defective components and readjust parts to manufacturer specs; may require certification.
• Assist with cross-training BMET Technicians in diagnostics.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and operators to resolve equipment issues.
• Provide emergency on-call coverage as needed.
• Order repair parts within budget constraints and research parts.
• Document asset actions to comply with policies.
