Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician to maintain and advance cutting-edge medical technology that directly supports patient care and clinical excellence. Qualifications

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 0–3 years in management.
  • 5–7 years related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced inspection, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and maintenance of diagnostic imaging and therapeutic radiation equipment.
  • Ensure regulatory standards compliance, support safety initiatives, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to staff, fostering professional development and consistent performance.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to identify and resolve technology-related issues impacting patient care and workflow.
  • Lead or contribute to cybersecurity efforts including risk assessment, incident response, strategy implementation, and compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission.
  • Manage operational and fiscal responsibilities, including purchasing, resource planning, customer relations, and support of business development activities.

You will leverage your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity readiness while collaborating closely with clinical teams and mentoring colleagues.

The role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise. Performs specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, however may collaborate with a team.

Pay Range: $48.14 - $62.30
