MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, ME seeks an Imaging RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations across Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, Vascular Access, Breast Care, and Infusion Clinic. The role combines clinical expertise with leadership to ensure patient safety, high-quality care, and efficient workflows.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Maine RN license with imaging nursing experience and 3–5 years in a leadership role; BLS/ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Maine RN licensure required or ability to obtain promptly.
• Imaging nursing experience preferred.
• 3–5 years in a leadership role within interventional radiology or a related specialty preferred.
• BLS and ACLS preferred on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, coaching, and mentoring to staff; supports direct patient care as needed.
• Coordinates patient flow between units to maximize resources and meet service levels.
• Evaluates care effectiveness and identifies issues affecting outcomes.
• Coordinates care with staff, physicians, and other departments; handles complaints per policy.
• Makes administrative decisions in the absence of the Department Manager/Director.
