Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) at the East Orlando campus to join our team. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, administer medications, educate patients, and collaborate with the healthcare staff to optimize outcomes.

In this role, you can participate in the Clinical Ladder Program with potential salary increases, and PRN shifts include days with some weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ acute care hospital setting experience (ED/PCU) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Job Description

Grow with us. Eligible clinicians have the opportunity to earn salary increases of up to 20% through our Clinical Ladder Program based on experience, professional development, and achievement of advancement criteria. Clinical Ladder participation is voluntary. Salary adjustments are determined by program eligibility, advancement level, and organizational guidelines. Schedule: PRN agreement with 2 shift Per week availability with some of those shifts being weekend shifts also rotating holidays and hurricane teams - flexibility is required. Shift: Days. Location: East Orlando campus.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Work Experience

• 1+ acute care hospital setting (ED or PCU).

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS [Required]

Pay Range

$31.85 - $52.76
