Job summary

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Imaging team on a part-time basis. The shift is Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with on-call every other weekend.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, formulate plans of care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, adherence to clinical standards, and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Education: BSN or ADN. If ADN, plan to complete BSN within 5 years and meet required milestones.
• Experience: 1 year as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care or 1 year in a critical care setting or CC fellowship.
• Certification/Licensure: BLS and ACLS within 6 months; Virginia RN licensure or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and interprets data.
• Forms individualized plans of care based on assessments.
• Delivers patient care in a patient- and family-centered manner.
• Advocates for patients and provides counseling to resolve issues.
• Coordinates care and communicates with the healthcare team.
