Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for Imaging to support the Interventional Radiology team at Muhlenberg campus. The RN will assist radiologists with imaging procedures, prep patients, and monitor vital signs before, during, and after procedures.

The role requires 3 years of medical/surgical nursing and 1 year of critical care experience, with active PA RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Day shift, with call, in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
• 3 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience.
• 1 year of Critical Care experience preferred.
• Current RN license in PA; BLS/ACLS/PALS per schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologist in imaging procedures and patient prep.
• Administer conscious sedation per policy and monitor patients.
• Communicate changes in patient status to nursing staff and physicians.
• Perform post-procedure care and patient handoffs to the unit.
• Maintain safety, charting, and medication administration accuracy.
