Job summary

Mercy Cedar Rapids is seeking an imaging registration associate to support patient-centered care in the radiology department. You will register patients for imaging procedures, prep and transport them, and monitor during the shift.

No prior experience required; a High School diploma or equivalent is necessary. BLS certification and Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter training are required before start. This is an hourly, evening-shift role in Cedar Rapids.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter training required.
• Employee must submit training certifications prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients for imaging procedures.
• Communicates accurate information during hand-offs and with families.
• Assist in phone communication with other departments and providers.
• Demonstrates safe techniques with imaging/positioning equipment.
• Maintains department cleanliness and follows safety guidelines.
