Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Radiographer Hospital to join the Lake Forest Hospital imaging team. This full-time position at 40 hours/week is located at Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital with a Monday to Friday 2:30p–11p schedule.

Holidays and on-call are required as part of the role. Responsibilities include maintaining patient safety, producing diagnostic images, administering contrast as needed, and ensuring accurate documentation in the medical record.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification.
• BLS certification.

• Maintains patient safety throughout imaging, including prep and post-procedure care.
• Produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols.
• Apply professional judgment to optimize image quality.
• Reviews images and initiates corrective actions when needed.
• Administers contrast per policy with patient monitoring.
• Operates imaging equipment and keeps the imaging room ready.
• Identifies equipment issues and reports through service channels.
• Coordinates exam flow and prioritizes time-sensitive studies.
• Maintains accurate documentation in medical records and image archive.
• Adheres to ethics and compliance standards.
• Upholds safety standards for radiation, MRI, infection prevention.
• Ensures positive patient experience and supports department initiatives.
