This full-time role operates Monday to Friday 2:30p–11p with on-call and holiday rotation; you will produce diagnostic CT images, administer contrast, and ensure patient safety.

The position emphasizes ALARA principles and high-quality documentation, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Accreditation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety throughout the imaging process from screening to post-procedure care.
• Produce diagnostic CT images using approved protocols and professional standards.
• Apply professional judgment to optimize image quality and address imaging challenges.
• Administer contrast per policy and monitor patients.
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain imaging room readiness.
• Ensure complete study transfer to PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Perform CT equipment QA and maintain required logs.
• Clerical tasks such as scheduling patients and recordkeeping.
• Adhere to safety standards and ALARA principles during examinations.
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records and image archive systems.
