Dignity Health – Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) in Prescott, AZ is seeking an Imaging Professional to join our clinical team. You will perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, assist physicians, monitor patients, and operate equipment providing real-time guidance and accurate diagnoses.

The role emphasizes patient safety, collaboration with technologists, and high standards of care. Experience with IV starts, EMR/Cerner systems, and various imaging modalities is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Experience performing IV starts.
• Completion of an approved intravenous IV access training program.
• EMT-Paramedic training or certification.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Restraint Training within 6 months.
• Safe Patient Handling training within 6 months.
• Oxygen Training within 6 months.
• Point of Care Renal Screening Testing within 6 months.
• Medical Terminology course training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Checks department wheelchairs and oxygen tanks assuring they are mechanically sound; immediately reports equipment defects to supervisor.
• Ensures correct identity of patient before escorting them to the waiting room or modality.
• Assists technologist in getting the patient into the scan room and positioned on the scan table.
• Performs point of care renal function screening.
• Starts IV for IV contrast injection under the direction of the technologist.
• Scans documentation into the EMR per the technologist direction.
