Job summary

East Alabama Medical Center in Valley, Alabama is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technologist for the Imaging-Lanier area. The candidate should graduate from a School of Radiography or approved program, be eligible for registry status, and obtain BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of School of Radiography or hospital/military program where registry status can be obtained.
• BLS within 90 days of DOH/ Transfer ARRT- ( R )
• Preferred: Previous Hospital Experience as a Radiology Technologist

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Imaging by ACR, facility, and radiologist standards.
• Demonstrates radiation protection safety for patient, staff and self.
• Provides superior customer service in accordance with facility core values; completes ancillary tasks to ensure efficient operations.
• Must be able to perform on-call, various shifts, holidays, and weekends when required.
