Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Radiographer to perform radiologic imaging as directed by the Radiologist, ensuring high-quality X-ray results for diagnostic purposes. The role includes preparing patient records, explaining procedures, and maintaining equipment to safeguard safety and comfort.

Responsibilities cover imaging procedures, patient support, and coordination of daily imaging workflows, with adherence to regulatory standards and care guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRRT Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and care/sanitization.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses patient queries.
• Maintains equipment, ensures safety, and attends to patient comfort.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
