Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Radiographer to perform X-ray imaging as directed by the Radiologist and produce high-quality patient images for diagnosis and treatment. You will prepare and maintain records, and assist with a range of radiology procedures on site.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area.
• NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
• ARRT Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging procedures in accordance with guidelines and radiologist directions.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment, including setup and troubleshooting.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses questions.
• Monitors safety and comfort of the patient; ensures proper care and sanitization.
• Coordinates daily imaging procedures and makes necessary revisions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
